I am a mobile preventative medicine equine practitioner in the Kansas City area with emphasis in the performance horse to maintain athletic function and good health. With the use of routine chiropractic care and TCVM evaluation along with Applied Kinesiology, I help maintain your horse in athletic functional balance. If the biomechanical function and neuro-function can be maintained in balance the need for Traditional Western Veterinary Medical treatment is diminished. If the horse is biomechanically and neuro-functionally sound the joints will float in space and decrease the risk of musculoskeletal damage.
Depending on the stage of disease development when I first evaluate the athlete to determine the service modality I am able to best use for your horse. If the patient is healthy with mild biomechanical abnormalities, I will use Applied Kinesiology, Chiropractic and possibly Acupuncture to return the horse to balanced good health. If the patient is only mildly healthy with moderate biomechanical abnormalities, I will use the whole gamut of AK, Chiro, AP and TWVM to attempt to return the horse to balanced good health. If the patient is in poor health and biomechanically compromised, I will still use the whole gamut emphasizing on TWVM to attempt to return the horse to balanced good health or the best level of health possible.
